Applications of Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering

Description

The main goal of this special session is to create a friendly environment that could lead to the establishment or strengthening of scientific collaborations and exchanges among attendees, on any aspect of Bioinformatics, Biomedicine and Biomedical Engineering, including the topic (but not limited to): Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (Microarry Data Analysis; Gene Regulation, Network, and Pathway Analysis; DNA and RNA structure, function and sequence analysis; Computational proteomic; Next-Generation Sequencing and Metagenomics; Algorithms, models, software, and tools in Bioinformatics, High Performance Computing in Bioinformatic, etc) and in the field of Biomedical Engineering (Biomedical Signal Analysis and Modeling; Healthcare Data Acquisition, Analysis and Modeling; High Performance Computing for Biomedical Data Analysis; Biomedical Data Integration, Preprocessing, Modeling, Visualization and Knowledge Utilization; Biomedical imaging, etc).
